Another Common Root Cause of Heart Disease High Blood Pressure

When the heart contracts (pumps) it pushes a little bit of bulge of blood through arteries. As the bulge passes through arteries it forces the arteries to expand. After the bulge passes the elasticity of arteries pulls the arteries back to original size. The artery constantly expanding and contracting caused by the heart constantly pumping bulges of blood causes wear and tear on arteries (tiny cracks).

The wear and tear is sealed by LDL delivering cholesterol to the damaged area. This is why high blood pressure is such a problem; higher blood pressure creates larger bulges for longer periods of time which causes excess damage which causes excess repair. Veins don’t have such wear and tear because the bulge of blood from the heart never reaches veins. Also, because there’s more oxygen in arteries than veins and thus more free radicals in arteries, over time arteries become brittle, causing arteries to crack and split more frequently from passing bulges of blood of high blood pressure.

Root Causes Of High Blood Pressure

There are a large number of root causes of high blood pressure. Without definite, non subjective symptoms of a medical condition causing high blood pressure, it makes sense to correct nutritional deficiencies first. High blood pressure medication for nutritional deficiencies is dangerous, it’s a lot of other things too.

Too much Sodium or not enough Potassium – Sodium pushes potassium out (of the body). Potassium pushes sodium out. Sodium holds onto water, causing an increase in volume of blood, making the heart work harder to move the extra weight of the extra volume. More blood means larger bulges of blood being pushed through arteries.

Magnesium Deficiency – Magnesium is necessary for holding on to potassium. Magnesium deficiency causes potassium deficiency.

Thiamin Deficiency – Magnesium deficiency causes thiamin deficiency. Food contains little thiamin. The tannins in Coffee causes thiamin deficiency.

Coffee – Causes Thiamin deficiency

Vitamin A deficiency (use beta carotene) – Due to untreated allergies (food, pollen), this deficiency was so severe it made my ears bleed.

Soda – Low pH of soda causes calcium and magnesium deficiencies.

Smoking

Excess weight on the stomach

Lack of physical activity

Too much alcohol itself and the dehydration and nutritional deficiencies alcohol causes

Stressful environment (worry, fear, over worked, lack of sleep, lack of rest)

Emotionally stressful nutritional deficiencies (niacin, thiamin, magnesium, zinc, B-12, folic acid)

Adrenal and thyroid exhaustion and disorders

Lack of fresh water as a matter of lack of keeping the body free of waste and food additives.

How Clogged Arteries Cause a Heart Attack

When plaque buildup reduces the interior diameter of an artery by 70% of its original diameter (30% open), heart muscle pains (angina) occur due to lack of oxygen due to lack of blood flow. Lack of oxygen to heart cells often causes heart attacks.

In response to reduced oxygen from narrowed arteries, the heart will pump harder than it normally would (high blood pressure, hypertension) to increase blood flow in order to deliver the normal volume of oxygen-containing blood to cells. More forceful (and faster) heart beat means excessive wear and tear on the heart. As plaque buildup thickens, the heart has to work even harder to supply the normal amount of oxygen to cells. Too much physical activity without enough oxygen slowly kills heart muscle cells (and other cells) and can also cause a heart attack, which kills even more cells.

Plaque buildup can rupture causing blood clots to form on top of the plaque. The clotting can build and block the flow of blood and cause a heart attack. The clotting can also break off from the plaque, flow to the brain, and block blood flow through blood vessels in the brain, causing a stroke.

Plaque can continue to build until plaque is built completely across the artery.
